French Toast and Bacon

Lumch tomorrow will be French toast with bacon. Bread: $1.25. It's cinnamon swirl Smith's bread. I did 18 slices, so almost the whole loaf. I like to eat the ends. Eggs: $0.68 Milk: $0.75 Cinnamon: $0.20 Bacon: $4.00 $6.20 or so for lunch for about six people, plus some bacon for me and the dog!

Introduction to Startup Chef

Hi, I'm Eve. I went to culinary school a few years ago, and worked for a high end restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip for a year and a half. I didn't like the monotony. Now I cook for a startup company in Las Vegas. I make lunch and dinner six days a week. Creativity is something I strive for. Sometimes it can be difficult due to the preferences of my team. I make pizza every Friday, and sub sandwiches every Saturday. Each week I do either lasagne or enchiladas. I do lots of breakfast sandwiches, on English muffins, croissants, mini bagels, basically everything. They love Italian food, Asian food, and Mexican food, so I do a lot of that. In this blog, I will post meals I've made in the past, future recipe plans, and sometimes even meal prices. I recently made lunch for eight people for under $14! See you soon, and thanks! Eve
